Susan Fenton's tightly cropped and composed photographs examine the human figure and still life. Fenton received her undergraduate degree from Tyler School of Art, her master of fine arts degree from Rutgers University, and her masters of art education from Tyler. Fenton exhibited extensively throughout the United States and received professional awards and fellowships from the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, the Print Center of Philadelphia, and the La Napoule Art Foundation in France, among others. Fenton held teaching positions at prominent colleges and universities in the greater Philadelphia area including Associate Professor at Saint Joseph's University. Her photographs are in the collections of the Delaware Art Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, among others.
