Herta Zuckermann

Herta (sometimes known as Berta) Zuckermann, studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Vienn with artist and educator Franz Cizek. Cizek was a painter and reform educator who believed in allowing his students a great deal of freedom in their instruction in order to foster their creativity. Zuckermann went on to a career as an illustrator.
