Joseph Piccillo

Joseph Piccillo received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in art education at the State University of New York College at Buffalo. The artist is well known for his dramatic graphite and charcoal figurative drawings and the horse is a favored subject. Piccillo has exhibited throughout the United States and abroad since the late 1970s, and his work is included in the public collections of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and the Museum of Modern Art, among others.
