Kenneth SteelBritish artist, 1906–1970

British artist, born in Sheffield, England. His father, G.T.Steel was an artist and silver engraver. He studied at Sheffield College of Art under Anthony Betts. He worked primarily in watercolor, but also as a line engraver. He was noted for landscapes, street scenes and as a poster designer. Most of his work was produced for the railways. Elected R.B.A. 1935
