David TägtströmSwedish painter and portraitist, 1894–1981
Swedish artist, painter, graphic artist and cartoonist. Tägtström studied with Emerik Stenberg He was a student at the Art Academy in Stockholm from1913 -16. He painted authoritative portraits of, among others, Queen Louise, Prince Eugen and Anders Örne. He is represented in the Dalarna Museum and Gripsholm Castle portrait collection. He belonged to the Falun Graphics and was a member of the Art Academy.
