Gene Kloss

Kloss is best known for her depcitions of the American Southwest. She was born in Oakland, California, and studied at University of California at Berkeley, California School of Fine Arts, San Franciso, and the College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland. She married poet-composer Phillip Kloss and they settled in Taos, New Mexico in 1925.
