Charles Emile Heil

Born in Boston, Heil studied at the Cowles Art School with Joseph DeCamp and in Paris. Heil was active in Massachusetts for his entire life and exhibited regularly at the Boston Art Club. He also showed at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Society of Independent Artists, and the Art Institute of Chicago. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston has a large collection of work by Massachusetts artist Charles Emile Heil.
