Ethel Canby Peets

Born in Wilmington, Peets was a painter and etcher and a member of the Woodstock (New York) Art Association. She was the student, and later wife, of artist and illustrator Orville Houghton Peets, whose portrait of her was awarded at the Paris Salon and purchased by the French government for the Luxembourg Collection.
