Richard Bosman

Richard Bosman was born in Madras, India in 1944 and currently lives and works in Esopus, New York. Bosman studied at the Bryam Shaw School of Painting and Drawing in London, the New York Studio School, and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine. His realist paintings and prints depict enigmatic narratives, scenes of American history, and local friends and landscapes. Bosman's work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions and is included in the public collections of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Detroit Institute of Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, among many others.
