Robert J. WildhackAmerican illustrator, poster artist, and comedian, 1881–1940

Robert J. Wildhack was born in Pekin, Illinois. He studied under Robert Henri in New York. Wildhack created illustrations for The Indianapolis Sentinel, McClure's Success, Scribner's, and Reader, as well as cover art for Century. He additionally illustrated a number of movie posters and was himself a comedic radio personality. He died in Los Angeles, California.
