Randy Tuten

Born in San Francisco, Tuten was raised in Los Angeles. By the mid-1960s he was traveling to San Francisco regularly to attend rock concerts. Interested in commercial art since his teenage years, he decided to try his hand at designing rock posters and became the first in-house for concert promoter Bill Graham in 1969. He remained a prolific poster designer and commercial artist into the 1990s.
