Warren Rohrer

A painter of luminous landscapes and abstractions, Rohrer was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and throughout his career Rohrer found his inspiration in nature. He taught at the Philadelphia College of Art (now the University of the Arts) for 25 years while exhibiting nationally. He was represented by Locks Gallery in Philadelphia, and his work is in many public collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Denver Art Museum.
