Prosper Louis Senat

Born in Germantown, Pennsylvania, Senat studied at École des Beaux Arts in Paris and the South Kensington School in London. Senat traveled widely in Europe and the United States. He was active in the Philadelphia art community and maintained a home and studio in Kennebunkport, Maine. An expert watercolor painter, Senat exhibited widely in the United States and in various international exhibitions.
