Ivan BartlettAmerican muralist, 1908–1976

Bartlett was born in Plainfield, Vermont. In the 1930s he lived in Long Beach, California, and studied at the Chouinard Art School. He later moved to New York. He is best known for painting murals under the New Deal's Federal Art Project and for his mid-century textile designs.
