Larry Silver

Silver was born in the Bronx and became acquainted with members of the Photo League, including W. Eugene Smith, Lou Bernstein, and Weegee, as a high school student. He won a scholarshop to study at the Art Center School in Los Angeles. His black-and-white photographs document the places he has lived: Santa Monica, California, New York City, and Connecticut.
