Eugene FitschAmerican printmaker, 1892–1972

Fitsch is best known for his prints picturing New York theaters, from Radio City Music Hall to the Provincetown Playhouse in Greenwich Village. Born in Alsace-Lorraine, he moved to the United States in 1913. He studied at the Art Students League in New York and taught there from 1925 to 1933. He worked as a scenic artist and designer in New York theaters.
