Joe GoodeAmerican sculptor and painter, born 1937

Joe Goode was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and moved to Los Angeles in 1959 where he attended Chouinard Art Institute (now California Institute of the Arts) until 1961. Recognized for his Pop Art imagery, Goode was included in the 1962 exhibition, New Painting of Common Objects at the Pasadena Art Museum. This show, curated by Walter Hopps, is considered to be the first museum survey of American Pop Art. Goode works in a variety of media to capture images of oceans, waterfalls, clouds, and torn skies.
