Albert James WebbAmerican painter and etcher, 1891–1975

A painter, etcher, and lithographic artist, Webb studied at the Art Students League and built a career exhibiting paintings in New York in the late teens. During the Great Depression, Webb produced etchings, drypoint engravings, and lithographs from 1935 to 1940, under the auspices of the New York Division of the Works Progress Administration.
