George Alexander Picken

Born in New York, Picken studied at the Art Students League and was active in the New York art community in the 1920s through the 1940s. He exhibited at Frank Rehn Gallery and was a member of many artists' organizations. He taught at the Art Students League, Cooper Union, the Brooklyn Museum Art School, and Columbia University, among other places.
