Peter Schmidt

Peter Schmidt is a Berlin-born British artist, painter, and color theoretician. Schmidt studied at Goldsmiths' College and the Slade School of Fine Art and taught at Watford College of Art in the 1960s and 1970s. He met Brian Eno in the late 1960s, and the two began collaborating. Together they published the Oblique Strategies in 1975, a card-based method of supporting artist creativity.
