Lucile DriskellAmerican artist, 1924–2017

Lucile Driskell (born 1924) was a graduate of Finch College, Manhattan and studied printmaking with Michael Ponce de Leon at the Art Students League in New York. Driskell lived in Italy for seven years and worked closely with a foundry and studio in Pietrasanta.

Primarily a sculptor, Driskell's artistic career spanned from the 1960's until her death in 2017. She has been exhibited widely in a variety of shows including private and corporate collection such as Exxon Corporation, Hoffman-LaRoche, and the Woodmere Art Museum in Philadelphia. Driskell was the subject of a biographical record in Who's Who in American Woman, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World. She was also selected to the National Associate of Women Artists.
