George BrehmAmerican illustrator, 1878–1966
Born in Indiana, Geore Brehm had most of his career in New York City. Fove about fifty years, he spent sumers on Martha's Vineyard, MA. He married Katherine Bennet around 1912, and they couple had two children, Elizabeth and June.
Brehm wa aprolific cover artist for many major magazines, including The Saturday Evening Post and Country Gentleman. He also illustrated many novels, and advertisements of clients such as Coca-Cola and Texaco. In 1923, he was one of several judges at the first Miss America Pageant; Norman Rockwell was another.
