Andreas Sterzing

Andreas Sterzing is a German documentary and portrait photographer who lived in New York for over 20 years. He was involved in the New York East Village and Pier 24 artist community in the 1980s, documenting installations and activities. Sterzing moved to England in 2005 where he teaches at Falmouth University. His work is included in numerous public collections and has recently been featured in several group exhibitions about the New York art scene in the 1980s.
