Lillian LentAmerican printmaker, 1921–1993

Lillian Lent lived and worked in the Woodstock Artist colony in New York and was the Director of the Woodstock Graphic Workshop. She received her BFA and MFA from the Tyler School of Fine Art in Philadelphia and in 1964 was instructor of printmaking. Among some of the galleries to exhibit her work were the Albright Gallery, the Norlyst Gallery, The Creative Gallery, and the Woodstock Artists Annuals. Her work was distributed through the Collectors of American Art, Inc. in 1959 and can be found in the public collections of the Library of COngress, Yale Peabody Museum, and the Butler Art Institute.
