Label TextIn this etching Sloan pokes fun at the tourists, in their short, clingy dresses and high heels, who come to observe Pueblo dances in New Mexico. In the late 1920s, these tourist outings were on the rise, as the Fred Harvey Company organized a fleet of touring cars to take visitors from their hotels to see the nearby pueblos.
