Label TextCanadian-born Arthur William Brown studied at the Art Students League in New York City, where his teachers included Walter Appleton Clark, Frank DuMond, and Frederic Gruger. In his long and wide-ranging career, his illustrations appeared in magazines, especially The Saturday Evening Post, and books.
