Label TextAn eccentric bon vivant and supporter of artists, for a time Moore was the proprietor of the Café Francis. His home at 450 West 23rd Street, known as "the Secret Lair Beyond the Moat," was the site of many memorable parties. Sloan drew this portrait on the etching plate from life.
