Label TextWheelwright was a professional landscape architect who designed gardens for private estates, including Valley Green and Goodstay, in Delaware. He was also an accomplished watercolor painter, teaching watercolor in Maine in the summers and exhibiting at the Delaware Art Museum with his wife Ellen duPont Wheelwright.
