Label TextIn the 1960s, Jerry Uelsmann began to produce photomontages. He prints images from multiple negatives, one on top of the other, to produce photographs that feature strange and seamless combinations of objects and disturbing shifts in scale. Making these prints requires meticulous work in the darkroom. Uelsmann calls his process "post-visualization," because the majority of work comes after the original exposure.
