Label TextJames Rosenquist is considered one of the key figures in the development of Pop art in the United States. Throughout the early 1970s, he completed several series of prints, exploring imagery and materials. Rosenquist has created an illusion in this collage by taping a lithographic image of crumpled paper over a brightly-colored screen print.
