Label TextIn its subject and her attire, this drawing seems related to Sloan's1908 lithograph Sixth Avenue and Thirtieth Street, an image of a prostitute heading out for the evening. However, it comes out of the collection of Hollon Woodhull Farr, brother of the artist's second wife, and the use of wash or watercolor is unusual for Sloan in 1908, so this may represent a later consideration of the subject.Dante Gabriel Rossetti
