Label TextBoardman Robinson's cartoon refers to the Kornilov Affair, an alleged coup by General Lvar Kornilov, commander of the Russian Army, against the Provisional Government headed by Alexander Kerensky. The New York (City) Call was a Socialist newspaper published from 1908 though 1923.
