Label TextOtto Soglow's The Little King was a comic strip that presented the daily life of a diminutive monarch who refuses to behave regally. His activities gleefully upset the expected order of his court, and the social order generally. Soglow's drawing style - especially for the absurdly rotund, apparently legless king - was characterized by both economy and exaggeration of line.
