Label TextWhile spending their summers in Santa Fe, the Sloans and their friends frequently took car trips to visit nearby towns and pueblos, to attend Native American ceremonial dances, and to see the striking scenery. On these outings, Sloan made many pencil sketches, some of which resulted in finished paintings and etchings.
