Label TextEdward Charles Kimmel was raised near Hazelton, Pennsylvania, and he took the region's Amish farmers as his primary subject when he began painting in his old age. "Pa" Kimmel, as he was known, painted hundreds of watercolors between 1962 and 1968. After his death his work was featured in an exhibition at the Delaware Art Museum.
