Label TextJoe Lasker, a 20th century artist, illustrator, and author of children's books, published and illustrated Tales of a Seadog Family in 1974. It tells of the famous family members from various generations including explorers Christopher Collie and Commodore Byrd-Dog, and the whaler Fishmeal. The Seadog women valiantly assist their ship's crew to fight off attacking pirates.
