Label TextThe text at the bottom of this print promotes Maurice Le Garrec as the successor to the famed French print publisher and dealer Edmund Sagot. Le Garrec had married Sagot's daughter, transforming the firm to Sagot–Le Garrec. Sagot died in 1917, but the gallery lived on with Le Garrec as its head.
