Label TextBest known as a painter, Arthur B. Davies was a prolific printmaker. After early experiments with printmaking in the 1890s, he focused on painting for two decades. Davies returned to printmaking around 1916, producing hundreds of compositions employing etching, drypoint, lithography, woodcut, and linoleum block printing.
