Label TextBlue Book was a pulp magazine. This story was part of a series called Trumpets from Oblivion, in which H. Bedford-Jones presented various legendary characters such as Prester John, a figure from Christian medieval fantasy literature. Said to rule a lost nation located vaguely in "the East," he had the magical powers to triumph over his enemies. Here he invokes St. George, a warrier saint and patron of the military.Felix Octavius Carr Darley
