Label TextThis print and The Abbey from the Deans Yard were created for a portfolio of pictorial and textual descriptions of Westminster Abbey in London, England. Since Sloan never left the United States and, therefore, never visited the abbey he was reliant on photogravures published by an English firm as his source for information.
