Label TextBolotowsky was academically trained in figurative painting. In an interview conducted two years before this portfolio was produced, the artist explained his commitment to "pure abstraction," expressed here through geometric forms that coexist on the picture plane:"It's not a matter of our limitations, but our desire to paint what is the most significant to us."
