Label TextAs seen here, caroonist Ed Dodds, a native of Georgia, sometimes mocked his fellow Southerners. He was best known for his daily comic strip Mark Trail (his alter ego) who was a wildlife photographer and defender of environmental causes. This comes from his single-panel cartoon series "Back Home Again," which was syndicated in the 1930s and '40s.
