Label TextThe Maddening Miss Mantel is a stern governess, one of whose charges escapes her company to attend a performance of Peter Pan, causing chaos in the household during his unexplained absence. The governess is fired and the boy - while feeling somewhat guilty - is delighted with the turn of events that "his naughty escapade" brings about. Here the boy plays with one of his friends making chalk drawings on the street.
