Label TextA prolific illustrator and advertising artist, Max Wluff created this poster representing the menu for the seaside Hotel Nixe in Ostend, Belgium. The image features a nixe, or water sprite arising from the North Sea. The establishment's modernity is announced by the notice of "telephones" (fernspracher). Wulff was known for his skill in watercolor, the original medium of the poster.
