Label TextEtta Moten gained fame as a singer, dancer, and actor on stage, radio, and screen. Her husband, perhaps her dance partner here, Claude Albert Barnett was was head of the Associated Negro Press in Chicago. Both had leading roles in the American Negro Exposition of 1940, when this drawing was produced.
