Not on viewA native of Michigan, Earle Winslow trained at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Detroit School of Fine Arts. By 1919, he was living in New York, where he studied at the Art Students League with George Bellows and John Sloan. He worked as a cartoonist until 1924, when he opened his studio. His illustrations appeared in popular magazines, in advertisements, and on posters for US government programs. In his later years, he taught art at Pratt Institute.
