Label TextIn this plan of Queen Bitterblue’s castle complex, the turrets resemble those found in Howard Pyle’s depiction of Camelot. The artist chose to reference Pyle’s image of a castle because, due to the popularity of his King Arthur series, the round, pointed tower became immediately recognizable as medieval to American audiences.
