Label TextFrom the label, this fashion photograph seems to have been made to advertise the department store Franklin Simon in New York, but museum staff has not yet determined if this photograph ever appeared in a magazine or newspaper.

The model is wearing a glamorous evening gown by British designer Redfern. The metallic hoops she holds add an element of modern design, as well as showing off the stylish bell sleeves of her dress.
