Label TextWilliam Blake combined his talents as both a poet and a printmaker to create the Book of Job in which he developed the technique of engraving text as well as illustrations on the same plate. Blake's mystical and imaginative imagery was an early influence on the young Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood members. Rossetti at one time owned a number of Blake's works and he was instrumental in the publication of the important biography of Blake by Alexander Gilchrist.Nina Katchadourian
