Label TextIn 1971, Salvador Dalí produced a suite of six prints that reinterpreted classic lithographs made by Currier & Ives in the 19th century. The original Currier & Ives prints were included as collage elements. Having lived in the United States from 1940 through 1955, Dalí developed an interest in Americana like the Marx Brothers' films and these popular prints.
